  • “Easy to use, and it even recognizes illegible handwriting or crossed-out words on to-do lists. Automatic naming is very helpful, and images of your notes remain visible for reference.”

A form is a list of answers, not one long paragraph.

Printed labels, handwritten answers, ticked boxes and repeating rows belong together. Inksight keeps them together, so you can check the result, file it or move it into a spreadsheet.

Intake and sign-up forms

Patient intake, admission, membership and onboarding sheets filled in by hand.

Job and site sheets

Site reports, delivery notes, checklists and timesheets that come back on paper.

Surveys

Paper answers collected in batches that all need the same shape.

OCR that ends in a document.

The original stays visible while you review the result. Nothing is hidden behind a download until you know the page was understood.

Read documents in more than 50 languages.

Extract printed text and handwritten entries across Latin and non-Latin scripts, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Inksight detects the language from the page.

Recognition varies with image clarity, page angle, handwriting, and document structure. Review important names and numbers before using an export.

Before you scan a page.

How do I get a paper form into digital form?

Take a photo of the filled-in form or scan it, then upload it. The result appears next to your page. Fix anything that is wrong, then save it as Word, Excel, PDF or text.

Can I get the answers into a spreadsheet?

Yes. Forms built from repeating rows come back as a table you can save to Excel. A single one-off form is usually better as Word, PDF or text.

Does it read ticked boxes?

Usually it reads the ticked option together with its label. But a faint tick, a crossed-out box or a mark between two boxes is the easiest thing on a form to get wrong, so check those against your page.

Can I do a batch of forms at once?

Yes. Add each scanned form as a page in the same document, put them in order, then save them together.

Is the data on my forms private?

Inksight does not use your documents to train AI models, and the content is only used to give you the feature you asked for. The privacy page explains what is stored, who handles it, and how to delete your account.

Is it free?

Your first ten pages on the web are free, exports included. After that Inksight still reads the page and shows you a locked preview, so you can see the result before you pick a plan.
